Scentry Place has rescued prospects for our working dog program since our origin in 1980. The old-timers in Law Enforcement will remember one of the most famous Texas Narcotics Dogs in Texas, in the 1980’s ‘Duck’ who worked with DPS Multiple Time Trooper of the Year: Barry Washington in Carthage Texas. This Famous Trooper and Famous Drug Dog set records in Seizure that stand today!
Duck was rescued from the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter and trained by Scentry Place.

We have been blessed with every dog that we have rescued. It is our responsibility to place those who do not work or who simply fell victim to animal cruelty in loving forever homes with our ability to network.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
It may be cold outside but I will warm your heart. Snow is seeking that one human to bond with forever. This guy has been through hard times and in spite of that still loves everyone. Especially young people as in his photo with Lauren Brown.     

Snow is a male, white, purebred German Shepherd who has now been fully vetted and is finally being cared for in the manner that he deserves. Snow is housetrained
and well mannered. He is very affectionate, and so deserves a human worthy of his unconditional love.
